Chinese herbal medicine is a central part of traditional Chinese medicine.

It uses plant-based, mineral, and occasionally animal substances to regulate internal imbalances and support the body’s natural self-healing abilities.

The core idea is that symptoms do not arise in isolation but are the expression of a disturbance in the harmony between bodily functions, metabolism, and emotional state.

Individual herbal formulas are designed to address these imbalances in a targeted way.

A formula usually consists of several components that complement one another. For example, some release blockages, others strengthen digestion, others calm the autonomic nervous system.

Through this carefully balanced interaction, treatment can relieve acute symptoms while also addressing deeper underlying causes.

Herbs are usually taken as a decoction (herbal tea).

The effect is gentle but precise and develops through continuous use, helping the body regain stability, vitality, and inner balance.
